The legendary Sonny Rhodes, master of the lapsteel blues
guitar and a great man.
These days I'm very fortunate to be a part of a band that is growing in it's popularity,
and for good reason. They/we are The South City Blues Band and we are a jump
swing blues and boogie band! I know thats a mouthful but it most acurately describes
this very talented group of people. I am their drummer and also their web master, so
if you want to see and hear them please click on www.southcityblues.com to go to
their web site.

I proudly continue my work with Kenny "Blue" Ray and Pat "Lady Guitar" Wilder and I also
welcome Roger "Hurricane" Wilson with whom I will be doing a few dates as he passes through
town. I recently purchased a set of D'Amico Drums from Robin Overton who is the widow of the late
and great Jimmy "Big Jim" Overton. Please come out sometime and experience this extroadinary
instrument in person.
Myself with old friend and compatriate Ray
"Ray" Figueroa who together we make up
the rhythm section for many different bands.

Tom Bowers is not just a terriffic
bass player but he's also a hell of
a nice guy! I've been playing, off
and on, with this one for over five
years now and he still surprises
me.
