This is a casting from one of Beniamino Bufano's molds.  It is a 'maquette' or study of what
would become a much larger work.  Bufano did many variations on the cat but this charming
little version of one of his monumental sized pieces fits nicely with everyday life.  With co-
operation from the Bufano estate DeCarlo Studio is creating a limited run of cold cast bronze 
"cat" on a cold cast marble base.  (2 3/4" high x 2 3/8" wide x 4 3/4" long)

The cold cast bronze miniatures are also available  here on this site, at the Art People Gallery 
and at the Museo Italo Americano in San Francisco's Fort Mason Complex.
